U.S.S. Yorktown featuring Webelos Bridging

Destination: U.S.S. Yorktown (Patriot's Point Maritime Museum, U.S.S. Yorktown Association, weather forecast)
Departing: Greystone Baptist Church parking lot promptly at 12pm (noon) on Friday, March 17th, 2006.
Returning: Between 6pm & 9pm (we will call at 3pm to confirm arrival time) to Greystone Baptist Church on Sunday, March 19th, 2006.
Activities: Museum tours, Webelos bridging
Cost: $100 per person; includes transportation, accomodations, and meals. Bring at least $40 for OTR meals (Friday dinner, Sunday lunch, Sunday dinner) out and souvenirs.

Pre-Trip Checklist

In preparation for this trip, please follow this checklist:

  1. Confirm your attendance with the Scoutmasters
  2. Complete, with your parent or guardian, an emergency medical treatment form, if you have not completed one or if your current one is more than one year old
  3. Have your parent or guardian sign the permission slip
  4. No later than March 7, 2006, turn in your emergency medical treatment form (if applicable), signed permission slip, and the activity fee
  5. Pack your gear, keeping these suggestions in mind:
    • Pack conservatively: you will have to carry your gear over gangplanks, through portholes, and down narrow passages to get to your quarters
    • Change of clothes, toiletries, flashlight, matches, first-aid kit, and standard emergency supplies should be all you bring
