Boater's Launch at Topsail Island

Destination: "Boater's Launch" at Brewer's Bungalow, Topsail Island (site details, weather forecast)
Departing: Greystone Baptist Church parking lot promptly at 4pm on Friday, February 17th, 2006.
Returning: Around 2pm to Greystone Baptist Church on Sunday, February 19th, 2006.
Activities: Leadership skills building
Cost: $25 per person for transportation, food costs to be billed after outing. Bring at least $20 for meals out and souvenirs.

Pre-Trip Checklist

In preparation for this trip, please follow this checklist:

  1. Confirm your attendance with the Scoutmasters
  2. Complete, with your parent or guardian, an emergency medical treatment form, if you have not completed one or if your current one is more than one year old
  3. Have your parent or guardian sign the permission slip
  4. No later than 7-February-2006, turn in your emergency medical treatment form (if applicable), signed permission slip, and the activity fee
  5. Pack your gear for a two-night cabin weekend:
    • You do not need to pack your backpack; instead, a duffle bag lined with a garbage bag will work perfectly.
    • The Troop will provide all food, drink, and snacks for the weekend.
    • The activities this weekend will absolutely require you to pencil and paper.
