Pre-Trip Checklist
In preparation for this trip, please follow this checklist:
- Confirm your attendance with the Scoutmasters
- Complete, with your parent or guardian, an emergency medical treatment form, if you have not completed one or if your current one is more than one year old
- Have your parent or guardian sign the permission slip
- No later than Mon, 4 Feb 2008, turn in your emergency medical treatment form (if applicable), signed permission slip, and the activity fee

Packing Tips
- Pack your gear for a 3-day car camping trip.
- You will need a patrol meal plan in place for at least 5 meals:
- Friday Dinner
- Saturday Breakfast
- Saturday Lunch
- Saturday Dinner
- Sunday Breakfast
- We will be visiting several attractions in the Wilmington area. You may want to bring souvenir money.

Directions to Dr. Brewer's Cabin
- Follow I-40 East, toward Wilmington
- Take exit #398 for NC 53, toward Topsail Island
- Come to flashing light, turn right onto NC 50
- Follow NC 50 to R-Mart, where NC 50 turns right
- Continue on NC 50 to NC 17, turn left onto NC 17 toward Topsail Island
- After about 3 miles, you will pass the Folkstone township marker; make the next right onto Old Folkstone Rd.
- Come to intersection with NC 210, turn right -- a Food Lion will be on your right
- Follow NC 210 over arch bridge, then turn left after crossing bridge onto New River Inlet Rd. -- City Hall is on your left
- After about 2 miles, turn left onto Bay Ct.
- Dr. Brewer's Cabin is directly in front of you
