Fee Breakdown
Here is what is included in your fee of $139.00 (based on 6 scouts attending at this time. The fee would go down some if we add any scouts):
- Hotel room,
- Ski/snowboard rental,
- Lift ticket,
- Standard Troop outing fee.
Additional Costs
You are responsible for food and any lesson costs. If you do not have ski bibs, please rent them and let Scoutmaster Fleming know that you added this to your rental. Being dry is worth the extra few dollars!
Site Change
The ski location may vary depending on ski conditions at either Appalachian Ski Mt. or Sugar Mt. As of right now ASM has the best conditions. This can change rapidly and we will make a final decision soon.
Lessons
We urge you to strongly consider a lesson prior to attending. Even if you are experienced, a one hour lesson will make your day much more enjoyable. Private lessons of one or two people (of like skills) is the way to go. If you are interested in buying a private lesson, please let Scoutmaster Fleming know by Wed, 7-January and we can pair scouts together for some savings.
Family Accompaniment
If your family wishes to go, we will be staying at the Country Inn and Suites Boone located on King St. I currently have one extra room available.
Packing
This is an overnight, winter trip. Pack two days worth of warm winter clothes.
